SPARTAN RACE GIVEAWAY!

Yes, you read that correctly! We are smack dab in between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, and so in honor of all my hard-working, kick-ass, never-say-die readers? The good folks over at REEBOK SPARTAN RACE have partnered with me to give one lucky winner a free race entry to the 2013-2014 Spartan Race event of their choice!

Why Spartan Race? Millions of people (many of them PARENT ATHLETES) have gotten back in shape through obstacle races like Spartan Race. And Spartan is the best, having been rated the #1 Obstacle Race by Outside Magazine. With a variety of races (from the 5k Spartan Sprint all the way up to the new 48-Hour Spartan Death Race) all over the country, there’s bound to be one in your region. Plus, their mission to “get you active, healthy, excited about change, and return to our ancient roots where running through woods, getting dirty, and facing adversity was part of everyday life” fits in perfectly with my own “get healthy & make your own adventure” message.

The lucky winner will be announced on Friday, June 14th, just in time for Father’s Day weekend! The winner will be selected based on a combination of how inspirational the story is as well as how much feedback (aka-‘likes’) their story garners from other readers.
