WHAT: On Saturday, August 15th I’ll be attempting a solo, self-supported run of the Cranberry Lake 50 Mile trail loop through the Five Ponds Wilderness Area in New York’s Adirondack Mountains. Many have thru hiked and fast packed the trail since its completion in 2009, but, to the very best of my knowledge, no one has run the whole thing in daylight. 1 CommentA week from today will be a big step in my obsession with off road triathlon. A 70.3 mile half-ironman, off road, self-supported solo. Excited doesn’t even begin to capture it!
1.2 mile open water swim (Canandaigua), 56 mile mountain bike (Greenway), 13.1 mile trail run (FLT Letchworth)… Wish me luck!
