FAMILY FRIENDLY: WHITING ROAD NATURE PRESERVE

Some of us like our trails steep and technical, but when it comes to family outings with younger kids, sometimes that’s not the best cup of tea. So we recently checked out the WHITING ROAD NATURE PRESERVE (Click For Maps/More Info) in Webster, NY and found a wonderful set of well-marked, multi-purpose (great “intro-to-mountain biking” trails for kids), family-friendly trails! Plus, the preserve connects to Webster Park to the East and Gosnell Big Woods Preserve to the West (not to mention Lake Ontario directly to the North) creating a great mix of trail variety.
