I love sledding. Seriously one of my favorite activities, bar none! (Had I known about Skeleton Racing when I was younger I might have taken a different path in life…)
One of my favorite ways to combine family time + training in the winter is sledding with the kids. Not only is it fun, but if you also pull the kids back up the hill on their sleds for an hour or two you get one heckuva hill workout! You get to recover on the way down, and – if you have little ones – giving them a ride back up really cuts down on the annoying “this hill is too big” whining.
